WAITLISTING THERAPY CLIENTS
Registered as a psychologist since 2006, Kyleigh has a well-established career working as both a school psychologist and private clinician providing a range of psychological services to children, adolescents and adults. Endorsed with the Psychology Board of Australia as a Clinical Psychologist and Counselling Psychologist, Kyleigh has also recently completed a Master of Educational and Developmental Psychology (Advanced) at Monash University.
Kyleigh’s therapeutic areas of interest include ADHD, autism, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and interpersonal issues. She has worked extensively with children and adolescents in school and private practice, providing individual therapy as well as group programs. Her experience with adults includes working with parents, new mothers in hospital and clinical settings, and in providing individual therapy in private practice. Kyleigh enjoys building strong relationships with her clients and utilises evidence-based psychotherapeutic interventions to increase capacity and produce lasting positive change.
In conjunction to her therapeutic practice, Kyleigh has experience and expertise in conducting assessments for intellectual giftedness, specific learning disorders (e.g. dyslexia), intellectual disability, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, and various mental health disorders. She is similarly able to identify difficulties which may be attributable to other childhood disorders, such as language deficits, that may require further external review by other allied health providers.
Kyleigh is an AHPRA Psychology Board approved Supervisor and has extensive experience in providing supervision to graduate psychologists.
