functional assessment
Students who have previously been diagnosed with a Specific Learning Disorder (SLD), such as dyslexia, may require an updated assessment to provide current evidence of their learning needs and the ongoing impact of their difficulties on examination performance. For Year 11 and 12 ATAR students, a functional assessment can support applications for School Curriculum and Standards Authority (SCSA) Special Examination Arrangements by ensuring that any requested provisions are appropriate, justified, and reflective of the student's current level of functioning.
At Inkblot Psychology Clinic, we provide comprehensive functional assessments for students with an eligible existing diagnosis, helping to identify how their learning difficulties affect exam performance and providing the documentation required to support SCSA applications.
