Important Assessment Information

BOOKING DEPOSIT

There is a $100 non-refundable booking fee, credited to the completed assessment cost, taken at the time of booking. This is required for all assessments and must be paid within 24 hours to confirm your assessment.

FEES

Our assessment fees are reviewed at the beginning of every Calendar year and priced in line with APS guidelines.

If you would like a detailed price breakdown for your assessment, please email reception.

All fees must be settled on the day of your appointment.

TELEHEALTH ASSESSMENT APPOINTMENTS

For all telehealth appointments, payment is required on the day of the session. You can make payment by calling the clinic or via direct deposit prior to your appointment. Please note that your future sessions cannot proceed until payment has been received, so we encourage clients to organise payment in advance to ensure a smooth and uninterrupted consultation.

INTAKE FORMS

You will be emailed client intake forms at the time of booking. Completing these forms before your first appointment is essential, as they provide important background information to guide your assessment and ensure we make the most of your session. If you do not receive these forms within 24 hours of booking, please email the clinic.

AUTISM DIAGNOSIS

A psychiatrist is required to validate an autism diagnosis in adults. Inkblot Psychology Clinic provides the psychological assessment component only.

Our pricing covers the psychological assessment and report but does not include the psychiatrist’s confirmation or referral.

Please note, all adult Autism assessments are conducted over telehealth.

Note: Assessments are tailored to individual circumstances and the type required will be fully determined at the initial consultation. In situations where previous psychometric testing has been completed, it may not be appropriate to undertake all assessment components and where applicable pricing will be adjusted accordingly.
