Specific Learning Disorders (SLDs) are neurodevelopmental conditions characterised by ongoing difficulties in one or more of the following areas: reading, written expression, and/or mathematics. Many adults experience challenges associated with these conditions, particularly in reading (commonly referred to as dyslexia). There is a high comorbidity of specific learning disorder with other neurodevelopmental disorders (such as ADHD) as well as anxiety*.
